The West Los Angeles Youth Club is proud and very happy to announce the 29th Annual West Los Angeles Youth Club Invitational Scholarship Tournament..

We cordially invite your teamís participation for a successful tournament. As previous years, we will be hosting Menís, Womenís, Boysí, Girlsí, and Sureshot divisions guaranteeing three games per team.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
  1. Entry Fees
  2. Sureshots Coed (K-1st grade) - $290
    Girls' and Boys' Divisions (2nd - 12th Grade) - $400
    Menís and Womenís Divisions - $400

    To help defray the cost of the Tournament for your team, the WLA Youth Club will offer a discount based upon advertisements sold for our Tournament Booklet. Advertisements must be received by February 17, 2017 for the discount to apply. This discount will be calculated at 50% of the cost of any advertisement placed on behalf of your team, up to the entry fee. The refund will be mailed to your team after the tournament.

  3. Team Rosters
    1. Ten (10) player's maximum.  (Only 10 awards per team)
    2. Sureshot Division: Each player will receive a trophy (up to 10 awards per team).
    3. Rosters must be league rosters. Priority placement will be given to league roster teams. Additional players (from outside your league rosters) must be flagged on the roster and submitted to your Division Coordinator for review and approval by the WLAYC Tournament Committee.
    4. Roster changes: Any roster changes must be submitted to your Division Coordinator for review and approval by the WLAYC Tournament Committee. In most cases, a roster deletion will not be a problem.

      If you request to add or substitute a new player, please submit all relevant information (player age, name, team/club affiliation, etc.).

      If the request is made and approved before the February 17 roster submission deadline, you will need to re-enter your team information and new roster online.

      If the request is made and approved after the February 17 roster submission deadline, a fee of $10 per addition will be assessed to cover processing costs.

  4. JAO rules will govern the Girlsí Division, and CBO rules will govern the Boysí Division.
  5. Any protest regarding a player’s eligibility must be made before the start of the game.
  6. The WLAYC Tournament Committee reserves the right to move a team to a different division.
  7. Each team is responsible for its own insurance coverage and will be required to sign a liability waiver. All players must sign and mail a Team Liability Waiver Form. The Waiver Form must be postmarked no later than February 17, 2017.
  8. All forms are available online at http://wlayc.org/formstourney.htm. All forms must be received by the WLAYC before the teamís application will be considered.
