The West Los Angeles Youth Club is proud and very happy to announce the 26th Annual West Los Angeles Youth Club Invitational Scholarship Tournament..
We will be hosting divisions of Mens’, Womens’, Boys’, Girls’, and Sureshot basketball guaranteeing three games per team. We cordially invite your team’s participation for a successful tournament.TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
- Entry Fees
- Sureshots Coed (K-1st grade) - $290
- Girls/Boys 2nd - 8th Grade - $400
- Girls/Boys 9th - 12th Grade - $425
- Mens’ and Womens’ Divisions - $450
To help defray the cost of the Tournament for your team, the WLA Youth Club will offer a discount based upon advertisements sold for our Tournament Booklet. Advertisements must be postmarked by February 21, 2014 in order for the discount to apply. This discount will be calculated at 50% of the cost of any advertisement placed on behalf of your team, up to the entry fee. The refund will be mailed to your team after the tournament.
- Ten (10) player’s maximum. (Only 10 awards per team)
- Rosters must be league rosters. Additional players (from outside your league rosters) must be flagged on the roster and submitted to the WLAYC Tournament Committee for review and approval. Priority placement will be given to league roster teams.
- Sureshot Division: Each player will receive a trophy (up to 10 awards per team).
- Roster changes: If, after submitting your team roster, you wish to delete or add players to your roster, please contact your Division Coordinator with your request. For player additions, please submit all relevant information (player age, name, team/club affiliation, etc.). Any roster changes must be approved by the WLAYC Tournament Committee.
In most cases, a roster deletion only will not be a problem.
If you request to add or substitute a new player, and the request is approved by the WLAYC Tournament Committee, the following considerations will apply:
If the request is made and approved before the February 21 roster submission deadline, you will need to re-enter your team information and new roster online.
If the request is made and approved after the February 21 roster submission deadline, a fee of $10 per addition will be assessed to cover processing costs.

- Payment (Check payable to WLA Youth Club, mailed in. Please write the team name and level on the check.)
All forms must be received or postmarked no later than February 21, 2014.
